This is Mike proudly holding "THE MAGAZINE" with his photo in it!!!!
This is the front cover of Life Images that has his photo in (just incase you are in a store and want to peek PAGE 22).
Last spring, before we had even thought of opening a store we had seen this magazine and Mike liked some of the photos that were in it. He checked it out and wondered about submitting one of his pictures. He submitted a couple and a month later he heard from Life Images that they had chosen one of his photos. We were so excited! The picture happened to be of our 2 little girls staring into each other's eyes.
We were unsure of what issue his picture would be published in since it only comes out quarterly. Saturday Mike brought the mail in and there was the magazine! We both looked at each other and I was not waiting for him to open it, he just stared at it. I tore the plastic wrapper off and started paging through and there it was! His picture, his name and where he lives and his poem and the equipment he used! I was like a kid in the candy store! Seeing my husband's name, Mike Marti in a National Magazine was so exciting to see! It was real!
When you come visit us we will have the magazine in the front cabinet for you to see and the original picture is on the wall as well. Sorry he will not be around for autographs ~wink ;}, just kidding!
