Place mixture in a bowl and break apart into chunks.
Here is a gift idea for the little ones!
When my three-year-old son opened the birthday gift from his grandmother, he discovered a water pistol. He squealed with delight and headed for the nearest sink. I was not so pleased. I turned to my mom and said, “I’m surprised at you. Don’t you remember how we used do drive you crazy with water guns?” Mom smiled and then replied, “ I remember.”
Not a sign of Baby Jesus
T’was the Night Before Christmas and all through the town not a Sign of Baby Jesus was anywhere to be found. The people were all busy with Christmas time chores like decorating, and baking, and shopping in stores.
No one sang “Away in a manger, no crib for a bed”. Instead, they sang of Santa dressed up in bright red. Mama watched Martha Stewart, Papa drank beer from a tap as hour upon hour the presents they’d wrap.
When what from the TV did they suddenly hear? But an ad… which told of a big sale at Sears. So away to the mall they all flew like a flash buying things on credit and others with cash! And, as they made their way home from their trip to the mall, Did they think about Jesus? Oh, no… not at all. Their lives were so busy with their Christmas time things no time to remember Christ Jesus, the King. There were presents to wrap and cookies to bake. How could they stop and remember who died for their sake? To pray to the Savior they had no time to stop. Because they needed more time to “shop till they dropped!”
On Wal-mart! On K-mart! On Target! On Penny’s! On Hallmark! On Zales! A quick lunch at Denny’s. From the big stores downtown to the stores at the mall they would dash away, dash away, and visit them all!
And up on the roof, there arose such a clatter as grandpa hung icicle lights up on his new ladder. He hung lights what would flash. He hung lights that would twirl. Yet, he never once prayed to Jesus… Light of the World. Christ’s eyes… how they twinkle! Christ’s Spirit… how merry! Christ’s love…. How enormous! All our burdens …. He’ll carry! So instead of being busy, overworked and uptight, Let’s put Christ in Christmas and enjoy some good nights!

~ Tearful Prayers
June 17th started as a sunny day where I live but as the day went on the weather started to change to dark and dangerous. I would say it is the most terrifying thing that I am so scared of and there is nothing anyone can do to stop it. A tornado.
Winnebago was out of danger but my daughter and her family and my grandmother plus many of my friends who all live in Albert Lea were not out of danger. I found out later my sister and her family in Hollandale were also in the path of the tornado.
I put on Power 96 live out of Albert Lea on my computer so I could listen to what was going on in my home town. When I heard the tornado was about a mile from my daughter's house I was instantly sick and I could not get in touch with her on the phone by texting. I felt the tears burn my eyes and I prayed. Later she text me and all was fine. Thank you GOD!
I could here some of the towns like Alden, Conger, Kiester and I heard Hollandale on the radio. My sister lives in Hollandale and I never thought for one moment that they were in the path because they live in the country and a few miles away from there. I spoke to my mom and she told me the tornado hovered over my sister's home and took out a few of their neighbors next to them! I can not even imagine how terrified they were and I can not even imagine the sadness that all of these people feel that have lost their homes with all of their memories. Thank you God for watching over my sister and her family. Here is the video where you will see the tornado taking so many homes that were by my sister's house. Her house is the one that you will see to the left right away when the video starts. I never imagined how large a tornado really can be until you see the path of one.
We went to a parade tonight over in Alden and afterwards we drove a few miles away from Alden toward Armstrong and Conger. I could see smoke off in the distances in different directions where people are burning of whatever was left of their homes. Homes are gone! Nothing! One house we seen the roof was off and everything inside gone! A couple of other homes were leveled. One house was stripped naked! I have never have seen an area after a tornado has left its wrath only pictures. Oh my God, my heart was heavy, tears stung my eyes and all I could think of is all of these people have lost their dreams that they created and their keepsake memories from past. They probably only have the clothes that are on their backs! I felt so sick for these people. I did not go to the area to gawk. I went so I could actually see and show my children how dangerous a tornado really is and now my children really understand what compassion for others really is because they seen how these people really do not have a home. They too were so sad for these people.
To me it looked like the tornado ripped through the areas stripping life and leaving behind hell! The homes were like something you would see in a movie like that were once deserted. I can not even tell you how much damage I seen and this was only a couple of miles radius. One tree stood looking broken and beaten and stripped of its leaves and bark. All of the beauty gone. I seen no life around not even birds.
My prayers go out to the families that have lost a loved one, lost their homes and businesses. My prayers go out for their dreams now to rebuild their future. It will be a long path to walk but with faith they will do it.
God Bless YOU and Peaceful Blessings to You and Yours~ Tammy
