I would like to thank you again to those of you who supported Scrapping on the Go over the past few years. Scrapping on the Go was a dream come true. So it is true.... dreams really do come true if you believe! It really does not seem like that long ago that I opened up that front door for the very first time in July of 2008. My oh my the time does fly!
Also, thank you to Tobi, Becky and Megan for helping out at the store these past couple of months. They were so very much appreciated by me! Thank you, thank you to Megan, Ariel, Catherine and Kathy for tearing down, boxing up, patching walls, cleaning and hauling. I can honestly say that I have never seen a big job like this done in actually less then 8 hours!!! WOW! It was nice to have the help since I could not do a whole lot hobbling around with a bummed up foot.
Many of you have asked what will I do now?? I can assure you I will never be bored LOL. I never say I am bored because there is always something to do. I am pretty much a work-a-holic and never much time to kick back and relax.
Everything has been brought home and everything is in the garage, my kitchen and basement. Don't forget I have my own stash everywhere in the basement as well! So I get to go through organize and clean. There is also Christmas pretties to be boxed up and stored away. I figure January is a boring month so I think I will start my very early spring cleaning and go through closets and down size some more! SOOO much stuff and a BIG rummage sale sounds very good as soon as the weather gets nice.
My first priority is to get my feet to feeling good again. The Anticipation is growing because there are only about 3 more months to go and I can have surgery done on my other foot. There are already plans made with many of my friends to scrap, meet for coffee and lunches. My girls are looking forward to our trips to parks and camping out lots this summer. Mike is going to teach me a little about the camera and I have ton of recipes I want to start trying out. I LOVE to cook and bake! For now we will play lots of board games and you know the old game "GO FISH"??? Well I think last week we played at least 30 times! Oh, how I am looking forward to more cuddle time on the couch with my girls and my hubby watching a good movie.
This week I talked to many of you that I have now decided to be selfish and I am so looking forward to me time, girly time and family time. All I want to do is PLAY! PLAY! PLAY! My pictures are accumulating, scrapbook paper is piling up and my mind is racing with ideas!
I feel like I can breath again and relax so closing the shop was the right decision for me. Sometimes you just know what is right because everything else just seems to fall into place.
This time I plan to keep up on my blog by adding a little of this and a little of that so hopefully you will come back and check out my blog.
Blog with you soon! Hugs!
