~Reminder~

Just a reminder that this FRI Oct. 24th 5-10pm is CRAFT NIGHT :} YAAA No cookin, No cleanin and No mom, I wants! LOL Just bring yourself and the projects that you want to work on.

As ALWAYS the cost is ONLY $8.00

That gets you Supper-usually pizza unless someone has a request, Beverages that include pops, water and coffee-no your not limited so you do not have to make a choice-just help yourself. A variety of snacks salty and sweet! A little goodie bag or a special treat from me. And prizes for everybody! I have always hated going somewhere and only a couple of prizes are given out and I never win. So I usually give out some new paper, brads or bling, ribbon or stickers. This way you get a sampling of some great products and maybe it is something you normally would not purchase but then you end up lovin it! And all registered guests will get 10% off all in store products, excludes the Kodak Picture Maker.

SAT OCT. 25th 10am-10pm is also CRAFT NIGHT again so double YAAA! The cost is only
$10.00. You get the same as above except it also includes lunch.

On Friday and Saturday there will be special sales through the store.

~Heidi Blankenship~

Heidi was at the shop today how exciting!!! As you can see we had a full house and everybody was working hard. Can you tell? The really funny part is my hubby Mike was also hard at work and we both forgot to take the after pics. I know she will be posting soon and you will be able to see the beautiful creations! Heidi is such a great teacher and so patient. She had so many great ideas and tips and soooo many creative ideas. I am so looking forward to her next class. I will be sure to post when there will be a class. I am planning on having Heidi teach at least once a month. THANK YOU Heidi for coming to Scrapping on the GO!

I would also like to thank my mom Barb who came all the way from Faribault for this class, Kathy, Donna, Becky, SigLinda, Bonnie and Terry for visiting with Heidi and creating some beautiful creations. I know they had fun with the glitters and they LOVED the Crafty Secrets products. Oh ya I almost forgot thank you Heidi for the wonderful give aways! I have to honestly say I was bummed that I did not win. Better luck next time for me. LOL

Just to let you all know that if you would like to check out what Crafty Secrets is all about the product should be in my store within the next couple of weeks. YAAAA!

I feel honored because she is well known and if you have checked out her blog then you know she is a designer for Crafty Secrets and Spellbinders. How lucky is she?! She gets to do something she loves, travel to CHA and teach classes. She is such a busy gal! Thanks again Heidi!!! I am Looking forward to see what is next for class!

~The Shop~

OK Ladies, You are probably going to think that I am losing my mind but you have to hear this one LOL!

I was going to sit down and start a blog for the shop and since I already have one for my ebay user I would just have two. Well I signed up and I put in Scrapping on the Go and an error came up saying that name was already being used. I thought to my self WHAAAAT???? Who else would have that? That is my name. So I checked it out and it was ME!!!!. HAHA I thought ok I have already lost it!

I forgot that when I had planned on having a traveling store then plans changed and I decided to open a store. Then in between everything I forgot. Now isn't that funny??? (wink)

Well we opened the shop July 19ht and it has been going very well. I have met so many people who have shared thoughts and ideas. It has been sooo much fun and this is truly "A home away from home for me" and that is what I want it to feel like for all of my customers. I like to take the extra mile and be personable with them. Like a gentleman said to me, " I like the mom and pop shops, you can not find service at the big stores like you can here". Another quote from a young lady, " I love this shop, I love being here, it is like being home". I take all comments to my heart and special words like this mean so much to me. I think I finally found what I am suppose to do when I grow up.

Below I have posted some pictures of the shop. I will also be posting some of the creations of our samples, customers that come to visit and upcoming happenings. I sometimes am a little slow at blogging between running the shop, a household, kids, grand kids and you know all the things in between of everything else. LOL But little by little it is all coming together.

This is the front of Scrapping on the Go. We are tucked aways back but people still seem to find us LOl. We have tried to make it look inviting and the table and chairs do get used by the customers. They like to take breaks from scrapbooking and they will sit here and visit while sipping coffee.

Here are some pictures of the inside of the store. Lots of GOODIES! My fav is the corner with the old table. My primitive area. I just love that period of time.







More goodies! I will have to take some time and take some close ups of the samples that are in the shop for you all to see. I just seem to run of time
