FREE KIDS Mother's Day Make and Take

from 1-3pm (same day)

Kids can come in and Tonya will help the kids create a Cute gift for mom!

Michael J. from Pictures Delight will be taking a picture of your child to help create this special gift for mom. Not to worry we will also help the child wrap their gift and create a tag so there is no peeking.

I would like to thank Heidi Blankenship for coming in on Saturday and having a Spellbinder's Wizard Demo! We had a VERY NICE turn out and the Demo was Fantastic! Heidi always shares so many tips, shortcuts and secrets. Her samples that she shared with us are just beautiful pieces of art! All the Ladies told me how much they enjoyed this and I am planning to have another one in a couple of months just in case you missed it! And yes, this one will be FREE too! I know that there were many of you that took advantage of the special savings on the Spellbinder's products this day and I was VERY HAPPY so share this will all of YOU! Thank you to all of you who came in and Thank you Heidi for taking the time to share your creativity!

I would also like to thank Kathy Hanson who did a WONDERFUL job on designing the Mother's Day Accordion book. I know Kathy took a lot of time in preparing this class but she got all 13 of the Cute books ready! It was a sold out huge success and I know the ladies that all did this book just LOVED it!!!! Kathy is now preparing a Fathers Day Class so please check back for the day and time.

~There Should Have Been Roses by Jill Holmes

I just finished reading a wonderful book by Jill Holmes, There Should Have Been Roses. I must say I LOVED THIS BOOK!

It has pretty much everything you would want in a book. The book is very detailed so it makes you feel like your right there. That to me is the first key to draw my attention to a book.

This book made me angry, sad, happy, teary eyed and there were little unexpected twists in the book that I never saw coming. I could NOT put this book down and I finished it within 2 days. And if you all know me you know how busy I am but I did it! I stayed up until 3:30 this morning and finished the last 2 chapters here at the shop! I know CRAZY and lots of coffee!

I am not going to give out any other information on this book because I hate it if someone tells me about a book that I intended to read but had not had the chance yet to read it. I will leave you that little tid bit of information and just to let you know that this book would be a perfect gift for

Mother's Day or Birthday or Just Because.

There are only a few openings available with Heidi Blankenship for the Demo class on how to use the WIZARD Tool by Spellbinders. Heidi will show you everything about the wizard, how to use other dies with this machine, give you tips and let you try out the machine for yourself! She will also bring samples to show you all the beautiful works of art that you can create by using the Wizard.

We have different sodas reg and diet, water, fruits, yogurts, trail bars, cookies, cheese and crackers and an assortment of chips all for a small fee. Coffee is always FREE. Just a little of something for everybody!

What a TWEET Birdie Card

I wanted to show you the work my sister has been creating, with some products that can be found in my store! Isn't that just a TWEET Birdie card.

Tonya has used "Penny Lane" paper, from My Mind's Eye, the Birdie is a die-cut, using the "Spellbinders - Wizard", and Dazzler flowers, from Petaloo....all which can be found in my store.

This is just a small "sample" of the work that Tonya does and she will be creating a totally different card, for the FREE ~Make & Take~ (for the first Wednesday of the month - May 6th). Hope to see you there!

If you have any cards that you have created or would like to create and donate to the store I will price them, put them into a basket and sell them with ALL proceeds going for a SPECIAL CAUSE in DECEMBER just in time for the holidays. Watch for updates because when I have my CHRISTMAS in JULY the craft room will all be set up for YOU to make all the cards you want for FREE for this SPECIAL CAUSE!!! I am soooo excited for this so please lets all get involved in this to help someone else out for the Holidays!

The first WED monthly FREE Make and Take (while supplies last)

For May's Make and Take it will be a Mother's Day card with some beautiful shimmery paper from the SEI Northport paper line with butterflies. You will also be adding a beautiful butterfly embellishment that will be cut out from the Wizard. You will have to come in on

May 6th any time between 10am - 5:30pm to make this beautiful card with Tonya and it is FREEEEEEE!!!

Sat May 2nd 1-3pm Kid's Special Event-FREEEE

Have your child come in and make something SPECIAL for MOM or Grandma for Mother's Day! You can bring in your child any time between 1 and 3pm. We have something really cute for them to create and Picture's Delight Photography by Michael J will be taking a picture of your child to help create this special gift.

Children will also get to wrap their gift and create a gift card so there will be no peeking.

(one per child please and children under 9 must be a accompanied with an adult)

Come early to get a good seat and if you would like to bring in some of your dies from one of your cutting systems so you can see how universal the Wizard is.

Create a precious Accordion Book to give to your Mother, Grand Mother or to a Special Woman in your life for Mother's day with Kathy.

Please call in advance to register because the kits are made up ahead of time. Things you will need are adhesive: tape runner and glue dots, scissors and paper cutter. If you do not have these they are here at the store for purchase. I do have one request out of respect for others that have also paid for their class all cell phones be shut off until the class is over.
